In its continued support of STPPS, Chevron donated $100,000 for multiple programs at December’s Committee As A Whole Meeting. Read More - STPPS Current Learning Models Continue Under the state’s modified Phase 2, STPPS will continue with the learning models currently in place where students in grades Pre K through 12 will attend school in person with safety protocols in place. “We are following state guidelines and will stay the course with the safety protocols and logistics we currently have in place,” said Superintendent Frank Jabbia. “We will continue to closely monitor the situation in collaboration with health officials and let the data determine if changes are necessary." Governor Edwards’s executive order and BESE (Board of Elementary and Secondary Education) policy allow school districts to continue to operate under the state’s Phase 3 requirements for schools. “I encourage everyone to follow recommendations from health officials and do your part to slow the spread of COVID-19. The actions each of us take will impact the ability for our schools to remain open,” said Superintendent Frank Jabbia.
